SUMMARY
Two new species are described from two lakes and a river in Washtenaw County, Michigan, namely, Rhizophydium pelagicum and Rhizophydium horizontale, parasitic on Colacium sp. and Stephanodiscus sp., respectively. Further details in the life history of Amphicypellus elegans and of a species previously noted by Canter as parasitic on Rhizosolenia eriensis from England are given. New records for the United States are listed for the following taxa: Septolpidium lineare, Rhizophydium planktonicum, Rhizophydium fragilariae, Rhizosiphon anabaenae, Polyphagus ramosus, and Endocoenobium sp.
