SUMMARY
Oogonia and parthenogenetic oospores of Aqualinderella fermentans (Leptomitales, Rhipidiaceae) were produced in pure broth culture. The procedure that promoted their formation included anaerobic incubation and the replacement of calcium in the medium by magnesium. Some of the oogonia contained more than one oospore—a condition not described before in the family Rhipidiaceae.
