SUMMARY
Cytological work on Kernkampella breyniae-patentis and Ravenelia hobsoni was undertaken to find out the relationship between the two genera. It was found the two genera are not related. Development and formation of the teliospore heads, epipatella, germ pores of the teliospores, formation of the pendulous individual cystidial cells of K. breyniae-patentis and hygroscopic cells of R. hobsoni, development of urediospores, and nuclear morphology of K. breyniae-patentis and R. hobsoni are explained.
