A Previously Unrecognized Southern Species of Boletus

SUMMARY

Boletus pseudoseparans, sp. nov., is described from North Carolina. This species is related to B. separans but differs in that the walls of the caulocystidia turn blue-green in KOH and the cells of the pileus cuticle contain amyloid particles in some instances.
