Notes on the Genus Albatrellus in Arizona

SUMMARY

Albatrellus dispansus (Lloyd) Canfield et Gilbertson and A. similis Pouz. have been found in southern Arizona. The specimens were collected under a mixed conifer stand of ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, and southwestern white pine. Albatrellus dispansus has been known previously from North America from a single collection and A. similis has not been previously reported from North America. Descriptions and illustrations of microscopic and macroscopic characters are given.
