SUMMARY

This taxonomic study of the genus Clavicorona recognizes 11 species divided between two subgenera, Clavicorona (unbranched fruit bodies found in duff) and Ramosa subg. nov. (branched fruit bodies found on wood). Clavicorona coronata (Schw.) Doty is synonymized with C. pyxidata, and Clavicorona avellanea Leathers & Smith with C. piperata.
