SUMMARY

Thirty-four saprobic Hyphomycetes are reported for the first time from Costa Rica. Heteroseptata bacillospora n. gen. n. sp., Nyctalospora compacta n. gen. n. sp., Berkleasmium tropicale n. sp., and Pleurophragmium costaricensis n. sp. are described.
