SUMMARY

Two new families of Mucorales are described. Saksenaeaceae Hesseltine & Ellis is typified by Saksenaea Saksena and includes Echino-sporangium Malloch. Radiomycetaceae Hesseltine & Ellis is typified by Radiomyces Embree and includes Hesseltinella Upadhyay. Characteristics of the genera are summarized.
