SUMMARY
All of the genera, species, and varieties of myxomycetes described as new by Charles Meylan are discussed and a nomenclatural type is selected for each. Short discussions of the taxonomic merits of each name are given when my opinion differs little from those of G. Lister (1925) or Martin and Alexopoulos (1969), but somewhat longer and more detailed discussions are given when my opinion is decidedly different from these individuals. These comments often include detailed descriptions of those taxa which I recognize as distinct, but which were not previously fully described.
