SUMMARY
Electron microscopy of Pyronema domesticum ascocarps shows that paraphysis and ectal excipulum nuclei lack nucleoli. In contrast, the nuclei from the hyphal segments beneath the subhymenium possess prominent nucleoli. Nuclei that lack a nucleolus are smaller than those that possess a nucleolus.
