SUMMARY
Fourteen helicosporous fungi collected in Hawaii are reported and selected species illustrated. Helkorna machaerinae which appears to occur as a biotrophic parasite on the sedge Machaerina angustifolia, is described and illustrated as a new species. Helicoma westoni and H. atroseptatum are reported, apparently for the first time, outside of their type localities. As there are few previous reports of helicosporous fungi in Hawaii, most of the fungi reported represent new records for the state.
