Nine species of Typhula are described from India. The new subgenus Typhulina is proposed for 7. thindii and its relatives. Other species are distributed in the subgenera Gliocoryne, Typhula and Microtyphula. One species, T. micans is referred to “residual species.” Keys to subgenera and species are included.
