SUMMARY
The type materials of Torula corticalis and T. bowdichiae are not congeneric with Torula as redefined. A new genus Pseudaegerita is erected to accommodate T. corticalis. The new combination Xylohypha bowdichiae is proposed. A collection disposed as Torula herbarum is instead a new species of Taeniolina, T. deightonii.
