Daily Measurements of Mucor Miehei Lipase Activity

SUMMARY

Mucor miehei was cultured in a defined liquid medium for 7 da (45 C). Daily measurements of lipase activity revealed that maximum activity occurred after 3 da of incubation. The optimum pH for lipase activity was 7.5. The optimum temperature for lipase activity was 50 C.
