ABSTRACT
Six species placed in Nimbomollisia Nannf. nov. gen. (type species Mollisia melatephroides Rehm) form a phylogenetically coherent taxon, marked specially by the thick sporal septa and walls and by the gelatinous coat surrounding the spores. Discocurtisia Nannf. nov. gen. (type and only species Peziza arundinariae Berk. & Curt.) is supposed to be of the same lineage as Nimbomollisia, but its apothecia are superficial and develop from a superficial shield, similar to that covering the apothecia in Micropeziza Fuckel and Scutomollisia Nannf.
