A New Dacrymyces From British Columbia

ABSTRACT

Dacrymyces aquaticus sp. nov., found on wood floating in freshwater or in very wet terrestrial habitats, is described and illustrated. The sporocarps are composed mainly of fragmenting hyphae, but scattered basidia are always present. The basidiospores, aseptate to 1- or 2-septate, germinate by germ tube.
