A New Species of Hygrophorus from North America

ABSTRACT

A new species, Hygrophorus caeruleus, is described from conifer habitats in the Rocky Mountains of central Idaho. It possesses characteristics which are intermediate between Sections Camarophyllopsis Hesler and Smith and Section Hygrocybe Fries.
