Abstract
Two new species of homothallic Mucor, i.e., M. hachijyoensis and M. meguroense that were isolated from pineapple field soil and leaves of Phellodendron amurense seedlings in Japan are described and illustrated. Morphology, temperature responses, and taxonomy of these fungi are discussed briefly.
