Abstract

The anamorph genus Phragmospathula is revised. The species colonize petioles and rachides of palms in tropical and subtropical areas. Three species are accepted, viz. P. phoenids (syn. P. roystoneae), P. brachyspathula, P. parva sp. nov., and P. papillifera is rejected.
