In the article “Phylogenetic relationships and morphological evolution in Lentinus, Polyporellus and Neofavolus, emphasizing southeastern Asian taxa” by Seelan et al., Mycologia 107(3): 460–474, 2015, the MycoBank number for new combination Neofavolus suavissimus was inadvertently deleted from p. 468 in the published paper. The new combination was validly published on 13 Dec. 2016 as Index Fungorum no. 308, with the new registration number IF552535. Mycologia regrets the error and requests that this name be cited with reference to both the description and formal nomenclatural validation.
