XIII. Fungi of two cultivated Soils

Summary

The fungi occurring in two cultivated tussock-grassland soils were examined, employing screened-immersion plates. Fungal populations were little altered qualitatively when the tussock vegetation was replaced by crops or by introduced pasture. Numbers of mycelia isolated increased under crops.
