The effect of 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolinic acid on ryegrass-white clover pastures

Abstract

“Tordon 22K”Footnote* applied to ryegrass-clovcr pastures seriously reduced growth of white clover (Trifolium repens L.) plants, and at a rate of 1.4 oz acid equivalentz/ac, killed them. Short-rotation ryegrass (Lolium perenne L. × Lolium multiflorum Lam.) leaves were abnormally folded when treated with 103.7 oz a.e. “Tordon 22K”/ac.
