Chlorosis in seedling Crotalaria anagryoides on a calcareous soil

Pages 261-267 | Received 19 Jan 1966, Published online: 05 Jan 2012

Abstract

The cause of a chlorosis in the youngest leaves of Crotalaria anagryoides grown on a highly calcareous soil was investigated in a green-house experiment using the minor elements B. Cu, Fe, Mn, and Zn singly and in combination. Iron applied as Fe EDDHA prevented the chlorosis and significantly increased dry matter yield after 80 days' growth.
