Abstract
The toxicities of 38 insecticides in soil were determined in the laboratory against white-fringed weevil (Graphognathus leucoloma (Boheman)) larvae. Only six (dieldrin, dyfonate, heptachlor, lindane, Sandoz 6538, and thionazin) were significantly toxic.
Results of these studies demonstrate the improbability of being able to control white-fringed weevil larvae in established pasture with currently available insecticides.
