Abstract
Further studies on resistance to triadimenol in the barley net blotch pathogen Pyrenophora teres Drechsler are reported. Following the 1984 harvest, triadimenol resistant strains were isolated from all cultivars tested. Some resistant strains tolerated 150 µg ml-1 triadimenol whereas wild type (sensitive) strains did not grow on agar media containing 10 µg ml-1. Resistant strains did not show decreased fitness. Crossresistance to nuarimol was common but crossresistance to imazalil, prochloraz, propiconazole, or DPX H 6573 was not detected.
