Abstract

Gingidia flabellata, endemic to Stewart I., New Zealand, is gynodioecious, but female plants were usually reported to be rare. Results presented here show that females are relatively common over most ofthe range of G.flabellata. Observations on fruit set, flower form, and inflorescence size are also recorded.
