Pollen morphology of Phyllocladus L. C. et A. Rich

Pages 259-266 | Received 18 Jul 1980, Published online: 20 Feb 2012

Abstract

The pollen of the five species of Phyllocladus has been studied using light and electron microscopy. The pollen morphology is basically uniform rendering specific identification impossible. The “region of weakness” previously reported for Dacrydium and Podocarpus is clearly illustrated in all species of Phyllocladus.
