Pages 81-83 | Received 09 Nov 1981, Published online: 10 Feb 2012

Abstract

Stipitochrysis monorhiza Korsch. is recorded for the first time in New Zealand as a component of a brown, epilithic crust on stones and boulders in a fast-flowing mountain stream in Arthur's Pass National Park. Illustrations of New Zealand material are provided together with examples of previous iconography. The New Zealand specimens appear to be a form of the type.
