Abstract
Two fungi (Lophodermium agathidis Minter et Hettige sp. nov., on leaves and twigs of Agathis australis from New Zealand, and Meloderma richeae (Petr.) Parbery et Minter comb. nov., on leaves of Richea continentis from Australia) are described, illustrated, and discussed. Meloderma richeae is compared with a similar, but unidentified, fungus on the same leaves. Some observations are made on the generic concepts used in the Rhytismataceae.
