Abstract

Detailed descriptions of Ephemeropsis trentepohlioides and E. tjibodensis are made. Habitat and distribution are discussed with particular emphasis on E. trentepohlioides in New Zealand.

A short account of the distribution and habitat of Buxbaumia novae-zelandiae is also given.
