Abstract
Nymphoides geminata (R. Br.) Kuntze (Menyanthaceae), a stoloniferous floating-leaved hydrophyte is reported present in New Zealand. This is the only known representative of this adventive genus in the country. Identifying features of the plant, its field occurrence, and potential for further spread are discussed.
