Abstract
Intracollection and intercollection crosses between single-spore isolates were carried out for Hypholoma brunnea, Pleurotopsis longinqua, and Pleurotus rattenburyi. All three species were found to be governed by bifactorial mating systems, and intercollection matings within each species proved compatible. Basidiome descriptions are furnished for P. longinquus and P. rattenburyi.
