Abstract

Klemsdal, T. 1981. A geomorphological profile, Hedemarken, Norway. Norsk geogr. Tidskr. Vol. 35, 117–146. Oslo. ISSN 0029-1951.

An analysis of landforms of the Løten (1916 I) and the Tangen (1916 II) maps, scale 1:50,000 and contour interval of 20 metres, edited by the Geographical Survey of Norway, has been carried out. This analysis and the analysis of relative relief have made it possible to distinguish between different landforms, to define geomorphologhical units as landforms of second order and to classify the following geomorphological regions: the Hill Region, the Knoll Region, the Knob Region, the Slope Region, and the Forest-Vidde Region. An outline of the development of the landforms is given. Finally, due to the synthesis of landforms, vegetation, and the cultural landscapes, attention has been given to different landscapes.
