Sex‐determination as a multivariate problem

The length, breadth, and thickness of the pubis bone of reindeer are used in the estimation of discriminant functions for sex‐determination of relatively recent bone material from Hardangervidda reindeer population. The method is considered to be most reliable (theoretically, 98 % reliable).
