A Revision of the Mesoleiine Genus Dentimachus Heinrich (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)

Pages 291-305 | Published online: 17 Feb 2017

ABSTRACT

Dentimachus Heinrich was so far known by three species: D. morio Heinrich (type species) from Germany, D. flavipes (Gravenhorst) (type species of Nemesoleius Heinrich) from Germany and D. himalayaensis Kaur from Western Himalaya, India. Nemesolius is removed from synonymy under Dentimachus and is placed as a synonym of Alcochera Foerster. Four new species are described: D. rufiabdominalis and D. pallidimaculatus from China, and D. nipponensis and D. glabrus from Japan. A redescription of Alcochera flavipes is also appended.
