ABSTRACT
Eight new species, Metriocnemus aculeatus, M. amplispinus, M. pseudorostralus, M. unilinearis, Parametriocnemus aduncus, Paraphaenocladius croceus, P. distinctus and P. triquetrius are described from India. The female of Paraphaenocladius albusalatus, previously known only by the male, is also described. Revised keys to the Indian species of the genera are given.
