Abstract

The subgenus Nippocallis of Tuberculatus is treated from China. Four species are known, all from China. An additional new species, Tuberculatus (Nippocallis) ceroerythros, is described from China. This is closely related to Tuberculatus (Nippocallis) cereus (Zhang & Zhong, 1981), but differs from it in the number of dorsal setae on head, the shape of dorsal setae of body and the state of hair-basal tubercle on abdominal tergites IV-VIII. All specimens including the type are deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, P. R. China.
