Abstract
The genus Chaetosiphon Mordvilko from China is reviewed. Two subgenera and four species are reported from China. Chaetosiphon (Chaitomyzus) hirticorne (Takahashi) is reported from China for the first time, and Micromyzodizum clinopodii minensis Zhang et al. is synonymized with it. This sub-genus was not previously known from China. Keys to subgenera and the Chinese species, distribution, host plants, morphological description and figures of newly recorded species are provided. All specimens studied are deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, P. R. China and Natural History Museum, London, UK.
