Abstract
Eight species of Cirrhochrista Lederer are recognized from China, of which C. spinuella and C. fuscusa are new to science. C. semibrunnea Hampson is reported for the first time from China. A key to the Chinese species and redescriptions of the genital structures of the known species are given. On the basis of the female genitalia, three species groups are established, viz., brizoalis-group, kosemponialis-group and tspissalis-group. The adults and genital structures of the new species are illustrated. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing.
