Description of a new platygastrid parasitoid Allotropa phenacocca (Hymenoptera) on Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae)

Abstract

Allotropa phenacocca sp. nov., a platygastrid parasitoid of the mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) is described from China. Voucher specimens are deposited in the Hymenopteran Collection of South China Agricultural University (SCAU), Guangzhou, China.
