Clark, A. 1982. Some observations on the behaviour of the Threebanded Plover. Ostrich 53:222-227. The behaviour of the Threebanded Plover Charadrius tricollaris was studied at two localities in the Transvaal over the years 1973–1982. Descriptions of behaviour cover feeding, voice and displays associated with the breeding season. Comparisons are made with the displays described for other Charadrius plovers.
