Possible phase transition in liquid caesium at ambient pressure

ABSTRACT

We report a molecular dynamics study of liquid caesium at ambient pressure intended to check the possibility of liquid‒liquid phase transformation at T=590 K. We find the presence of small kinks on thermodynamic characteristics of the system, but no phase transition.
