Abstract
Heat capacity data of the binary mixtures of: benzene + 1,2-dichloroethane, +1,1,1-trichloroethane, +1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane, toluene + 1,2-dichloroethane, + 1,1,1-trichloroethane, + 1,1,2,2-tetra-chloroethane, p-xylene + 1,2-dichloroethane, + 1,1,1-trichloroethane, + 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane—measured in the range of 45–60°C using a differential heating technique are reported. The measurements are well represented by the mixture rules proposed by Jamieson and Cartwright, and Teja.
