Nonallergic Bronchial Asthma

Pages 117-121 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Abstract

Although the theory that bronchial asthma is a manifestation of allergy is often true, there are many patients with asthma in whom no allergen can be identified as the cause of paroxysms. This paper discusses methods of differentiating between allergic and nonallergic asthma and offers procedures to be followed in treating the latter type of the disease.
