Pages 377-379 | Published online: 18 Apr 2016

Abstract

A method of immobilization combined with fixed traction for cervical spine injuries is described, in which skull calipers are incorporated in a modified plaster jacket. The method has been found to be effective in ensuring rigid immobilization and at the same time to be comfortable for the patient.
