Abstract
Because the ovary has no direct communication with the body surface, pathologic deviation in size from the normal is very often overlooked in its earlier development at which time much more favorable prognosis can be given as far as operative cure is concerned. Various types of malignant ovarian tumors are here presented—together with some data on how they differ clinically one from the other—in the hope that the points here described will be helpful in differentiating between them, thus aiding in the clinical management.
