Abstract
Multiple sclerosis, disease of exacerbations and remissions, more prevalent than any other neurologic condition except syphilis, is seldom lethal and not always a crippler. Although there is no cure, integrated application of suggested available types of therapy will give more symptomatic relief than can be obtained for many chronic diseases.
