Therapeutic Agents in Hematology

Abstract

Some of the more important therapeutic advances in hematology are discussed. The indications for the use of liver extract, vitamin B12, folic acid, iron, ACTH and cortisone, roentgen therapy, radioactive phosphorus (P32), nitrogen mustard, triethylene melamine, the folic acid antagonists, and splenectomy are evaluated.
