Traumatic Heart Diseases, Especially Myocardial Contusion

Abstract

The pathology, symptomatology, physical signs and electrocardiographic changes in myocardial contusion are discussed, calling attention to the difficulties encountered in the differential diagnosis from myocardial infarction. Two cases are presented to illustrate not only this, but also the treatment and the usually favorable prognosis.
