The Neurogenic Bladder

Pages 18-23 | Published online: 06 Jul 2016

Abstract

Neurogenic bladder is a broad term embracing many disturbances in bladder function. Today there is an increased incidence of this disorder. It is important to differentiate the neurogenic bladder from organic bladder disease. Once a diagnosis has been established, a set pattern of treatment can be started. A patient having a neurogenic bladder must be considered a lifelong patient subject to many late complications.
